Originally from Houston, Texas, Norma earned a Bachelors of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University in May 2017. Immediately following graduation, she joined the Sanders Architecture team as an architectural intern. Norma has a deep interest in architectural visualization, which she utilizes by working on project graphics and marketing.

Norma is inspired by architecture that uses color and light to help create or manipulate spaces. Encouraged to create studies on the effects of light on people and buildings, she began incorporating this idea into all of her undergraduate design projects.

One of Norma’s favorite structures in Austin is the Arthouse at the Jones Center due to its creation of a new relationship between the century-old building and the city.
