Trip | NYC

It is not easy to describe NYC in a short blog post, which gives an overview about the atmosphere and inspiration from this enormous city. Only to write about Central Park would take forever, because of all the different and wonderful impressions this park spreads.

On the upper photo, you can see the ‘National September 11 Memorial’. The memorial itself is created on the foundations of the Twin Towers. Two frames with falling water match the footprints of the old buildings. It is a quiet place.

One of the newest installations in the city is the High Line. The most interesting thing about the High Line is to experience the city from an unusual perspective - from between the high rises on an elevated level above the streets. The High Line winds through the west side of Manhattan and gives the crossing neighborhoods a green touch. Views to the Hudson River are captured between the narrowed buildings.
